The “Wired and Wireless Fish Finder” from Lucky (Model Number FF718LiC) is an excellent piece of kit for any keen fisher to have with them.
First up, the Fish Finder is incredibly lightweight and compact. This is ideal as if you’re anything like me, you don’t want to be carrying too much extra stuff with you when out fishing.
The Fish Finder comes in a small hard-plastic container which you can carry it around within along with all the additional bits of kit you need with it.

Figured I would share my preliminary results of using the portable fish finder in saltwater conditions. The unit itself feels like a professional hand held device and has a solid feel. The wire connection that connects the sonar and the monitor has a quick disconnect, care needs to be taken here so that it does not disconnect during usage. However, I have not had that issue, even in rough jersey shore seas. The sonar device can be mounted on the boat hull, a fishing pole, or you can just use the included float. If you are using the float make sure that the wire does not sink to the bottom, this could snag it. In terms of corrosion resistance, the sonar is holding up pretty well so far, as well as the wire. In-water testing was also successful, unit picks up under water structures, and accurate depth. Schools of fish show up very well and it was really nice to see a functioning unit that was not $2500. The LCD display is easy to read and features a back light that can be turned off to save battery life. I would highly recommend this unit for people that are looking for a fish finder that doesn't break the bank.

I so wish that I had had one of these when I was fishing many years ago. This will assist you in not only finding fish but also checking out the terrain beneath the water, depth levels, and temperature. This unit arrived in a rather colourful box and inside the box the kit came in a nice plastic case which can be used for either keeping the kit inside or used for something else like storing bait or small fishing parts. It also arrived with two small instruction booklets relevant to each type of finder. Whatever you do with this finder don't use it in very shallow waters or artificial receptacles (i.e. reservoirs) as not only will you damage the unit but also with smooth artificial surfaces the unit’s sonar or transducer will not work properly. You need uneven surfaces for the signal to bounce around and reflect proper results.This fish finder comes with two types of finder, a transducer which is wired, and also a wireless sonar sensor, which to me resembles a yellow rubber duck. They both send back results but it looks like the transducer will send back more comprehensive data over a wider area. Each has their positives and drawbacks depending on how you are fishing, whether from a boat or static position. Just make sure you tie the finders on very well because you may lose it and it’s an expensive piece of kit, a good piece of kit. I will use this attached to my kayak. A fixed position is best to obtain accurate readings. The display unit can be very bright and is charged up by USB lead. It is encompassed with rubber and is quite rugged, it also incorporates a small aerial. It will take some learning to get the best out of this kit, but it will be very effective once used. This is a serious piece of kit, and you get the best of both worlds with the type of finders included.

I like to fish for bass mainly and this works good where there's no limbs or other cover sticking out of the water I also go for cat fish it works great for cats in lakes and rivers find deep channels And even if there's no fish at the time there probably will be pretty soon I've got bass with it but I've caught several catfish you can find big ones suspended and drift a bait right to them at there depth and bingo the fights on.lol it's fun to use you can look for fish while you are waiting for a bite so it's fun while waiting and you don't want to stay where there's no fish anyway . Used it in a clear water lake where we could see the bottom. It can not judge depth. Water was about a foot deep and the fish finder claimed it was 3 ft deep, and said there were a bunch of fish, there were none.

Was thinking about a fishfinder depth guage device for those hard summer months when the fish are deep and this little device stuck out for the price, so thought I’d give it a go, highly delighted with it and does exactly as it says on the time

I found the finder to work well. It shows any fish that come by and shows where my lure is in relation to any fish. The battery life works for a long time, I used it for over 4 hours, and didn't even show any loss in power, could go for days I bet. Great price. Was happy to find a unit that had its own screen and didn't need to use my cell phone and this device is a waterproof unit. Very happy

Works like it says. Use it on my float tube to find the depth and fish. Nice to know the water temp, good feature. Battery lasts a full day when left completely on, about 9-10 hours. Charges fairly fast. No real complaints for the price.
