I used the apparatus the other day. I am very pleased with it. It showed the bottom elevation. I am hoping to use it for SCUBA diving (finding depth). I did not see any fish but perhaps it was a bad spot in the lake. I will try the fish feature next time. It would be good if it had speed indicator on it but otherwise a nice little gadget and the price was right. I definitely recommend others to purchase it.

works really well, we were excited to get this as we had watched someone else at the lake using one and they showed it to us, easy to set up and go, we have even attached it to an RC bait boat and were pleased with what we saw, Even used it in our pond to see how many fish were still in there now that it is getting colder and they are staying on the bottom more.
