This is a great device for the fisherman and well worth considering if you’re the kind of guy who camps lakeside dressed head to toe in green at weekends. My friend and I have just used the wireless duck float so far and with a little trial and error and close attention paid to the instructions we were soon locating the fish at our local lake. Pairing the control display/transducer is straight forward enough and the display is clear enough to read. It’s chunky and simple enough to use with a good range and has rubber port covers - fit for purpose in other words although the skinny antenna does concern me slightly. Spend some time adjusting he sensitivity and you’re golden. Finding the fish is one thing but getting them on the hook is a different story obviously but this device is a worthwhile investment to help raise your piscine game.

This depth finder performs great for finding depth. I think it's lacking in the fish finding department but I would say it increases your chances. Wish it had optional cord length.

So, before I start I’ll just get this out there, unlike what some of the other review have mentioned about not finding fish, this ISN’T a live view of fish and how close they are to your line, the device will aid you in locating if fish are in the vicinity.

Pretty easy to setup and use, although sometimes it freezes, possibly to underwater currents disturbing the signal.
Not the professional product you find on fishing boats, but second best, surely ideal for amateur fishermen and at a reasonable price.

I gave this to some friends who love to go camping and fish whilst there. They were full of praise for it. Apparently you put it into the water and it shows if there are fish or not. I assume it works from some sort of sonar but I am sure all the details will be in the instruction sheet that comes with it. I am not a big fan of fishing to be honest but I knew they would love to try this out. It also tells you how big the fish are which means that smaller ones are not caught and potentionally damaged by removal of hooks etc. It is very expensive for occasional use but people who love to fish do it on a regular basis and I guess it will make the whole thing more enjoyable knowing what eactly is under the water. It seems to be of very good manufacture so with careful handling and care it should last years.

It is a great entry level fish finder. I use it ice fishing and it works great. Battery life is great, I have used it for hours and It still has full charge.
