Personally I think I would rather have a device like this than not and for the price I think it's a gadget worth investing in.
I can't say this device has helped me catch more fish but it does help me understand where and how deep they are.

With this fish finder tool, it has made me go fishing a lot more easier!
The device has wireless sonar sensor which can detect where the fishes are so you dont waste your time fishing in a empty spot.
Comes with the LCD display monitor which shows you where exactly all the fishes are located.
Some may call it cheating but I find fishing more fun with this unit as I'm constantly catching the fishes as its alot more helpful.
Its small and portable and could easily be moved around!

My brother and I had fun using this fish finding unit as we canoed in a coastal estuary in Mexico. I will admit that were not using it so much for fishing (although we did see evidence of some larger fish below). We were mainly checking the shifting sand bars that restructure themselves in the Spring. In larger boats there’s always the danger of running aground and/or damaging your outboard.

Came in less than 24 hours, was super easy to set up and did exactly what it was supposed to do. Was skeptical, but really impressed with first use.
My main reason for buying was to figure out the depth fish were sitting at. It worked perfectly and caught fish in the column it was showing.
Just be aware... it’s not a $2000 fish finder. It’s $60. But it marks depth and marks fish well for what it is. I would buy again."

We mainly fish on inland lakes. We tried this in the kayaks & it worked fine. We used it on a line – don’t really want it mounted to the kayak bottom. It uses 4 AAA batteries – not included. It would be better if it was rechargeable – you’re going to use A LOT of batteries if you use this often. The screen is OK & the unit is easy to use.

I love this i tested it with a 55 gallon trash can and two goldfish It detected the fish and rocks i placed in the bottom perfectly. It was to the point on depth as it was 2ft depth of water and it read exactly 2ft like I filled the can to. I love this product and can't wait to go fishing
